All units feature a digital input which can be used as an event trigger or as a counter input enabling counts of up to 65535 per period to be recorded.

Powered by its own, user replaceable, internal battery that has a typical life in excess of 6 years, up to 128,000 readings can be recorded at intervals from 1 second to 24 hours.

The SL7000 features unprecedented accuracy, combining our extensive knowledge of instrumentation precision with data logging technology. High end resolution of 16 Bit for all universal inputs and a modular build ensures that the unit is competitively priced whatever the application.

An on-board LCD display (Optional) shows selected channel information and integral LED displays provide immediate scanning and alarm status information.

The logger can be set to start immediate, start on an event (either a trigger event or the exercising of an external digital input) or start with the application of an external magnet (Provided). This feature enables loggers to be set up in advance of the mission by a supervisor and to be launched at the start of the journey / log period by an operator.

The SL700 series data loggers are compact, self powered data loggers. Each data logger is battery powered for up to 10 years. They have three memory options that will store either 21500, 87000 or 1 million readings at sample rates from 45mS* to 8 hours. The SL700 series data loggers can be used to measure temperature via thermistor, thermocouple or Pt100 sensors, relative humidity, gauge and absolute pressure and pulse signals.

All members of the SL700 data loggers can be used in conjunction with the SL-ACC19 GSM modem which allows the data loggers to be mounted in either remote or mobile installations. Then, using a conventional modem, it is possible to dial up the remote site and view current operating conditions as well as downloading the stored readings. It is also possible for the data logger to dial out or send a SMS text message in the event of an alarm condition. All SL700 seriesdata loggers have a 10 year battery warranty and a 3 year electronics part warranty.

The SL400 system is a radio based wireless telemetry system. Ideal for retro fitting a monitoring system into an existing installation with minimum downtime and cost.

The SL400 system comprises of remote radio transmitters that measure temperature, relative humidity, low differential pressure, mA or voltage signals and periodically transmits the values back to a receiving base station. The radio transmitters operate on the worldwide, license free frequency and have an output power of only 10mW which does not interfere with other sensitive electronic equipment but allows up to 1000m transmission range.

The SL400 base stations can now be supplied with Ethernet connectivity. This means that there is no longer a restriction on the distance from the transmitters to the base station.
The SL400-ETHERNET base station can be connected to your existing Ethernet network in a convenient location to pick up the relevant transmissions and the data passed over your network.

The software supports up to 20 base stations.

The data loggers are supplied with a 1.5m long lead that connects directly to the connector on the data logger and is terminated with crocodile clips for connection into existing 4-20mA current loops (SL121i) or to an appropriate Voltage measurement point (SL121v). The SL121i is ideal for fitting into existing 4-20mA current loops. Just break into the loop and clip the logger in place, instantly adding a recording system to existing applications. Both versions are electrically protected against reverse polarity connection or over current / over voltage.
