All units feature a digital input which can be used as an event trigger or as a counter input enabling counts of up to 65535 per period to be recorded.

Powered by its own, user replaceable, internal battery that has a typical life in excess of 6 years, up to 128,000 readings can be recorded at intervals from 1 second to 24 hours.

The SL7000 features unprecedented accuracy, combining our extensive knowledge of instrumentation precision with data logging technology. High end resolution of 16 Bit for all universal inputs and a modular build ensures that the unit is competitively priced whatever the application.

An on-board LCD display (Optional) shows selected channel information and integral LED displays provide immediate scanning and alarm status information.

The logger can be set to start immediate, start on an event (either a trigger event or the exercising of an external digital input) or start with the application of an external magnet (Provided). The SL700 series data loggers are compact, self powered data loggers. Each data logger is battery powered for up to 10 years. They have three memory options that will store either 21500, 87000 or 1 million readings at sample rates from 45mS* to 8 hours. The SL700 series data loggers can be used to measure temperature via thermistor, thermocouple or Pt100 sensors, relative humidity, gauge and absolute pressure and pulse signals.

All members of the SL700 data loggers can be used in conjunction with the SL-ACC19 GSM modem which allows the data loggers to be mounted in either remote or mobile installations. Then, using a conventional modem, it is possible to dial up the remote site and view current operating conditions as well as downloading the stored readings. It is also possible for the data logger to dial out or send a SMS text message in the event of an alarm condition. All SL700 seriesdata loggers have a 10 year battery warranty and a 3 year electronics part warranty.

Three self contained, battery powered, USB data loggers. The SL51USB and SL52USB are single channel temperature data loggers. The SL54USB records temperature and relative humidity. All three data loggers plug directly into the USB port of the computer for configuration. They are then removed from the USB slot and placed where monitoring is required. When the monitoring is complete, the data logger is placed back in the USB slot for data retrieval. Depending on the model chosen, they have the ability to record up to 8,000 data points and have a measuring temperature range of -10°C to +85°C and 0 to 95%RH.

All three USB data loggers are fully compatible with our user friendly software - TempIT. TempIT-Lite is free of charge and allows the logger to be set up and the data read and displayed in graphical format. Graphs can be stored, printed or retrieved at a later time. TempIT-Lite can be up-graded to TempIT-Pro which provides various additional features such as data table view, export data to spreadsheet, email graphs, F0 and A0 calculations, and automated mean kinetic temperature (MKT) calculations etc.

Each of the three models have specific advantages:

SL51USB - Lowest cost, stores 2048 readings and ±1°C accuracy

SL52USB - Up to 8192 readings, ±0.5°C accuracy and faster sample rates

The SL51M is a self contained single channel temperature data logger supplied with rubber mounting tag. The SL51M has the ability to record over 2000 data points. The SL51M operates in a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. The SL51M is coloured bright yellow for easy identification and retrieval and can be fixed in place by either using the internal magnet or by using a security tie or screw through the mounting hole provided.

The SL50R Button Reader™ interfaces to the USB port of a PC and is totally compatible with the user friendly, TempIT-Lite operating software which enables the logger to be set up and the data read and displayed in graphical format. Data can be stored and retrieved at a later time. The software can be up-graded to TempIT-Pro which provides various additional features such as data table view, export data to spreadsheet, email graphs, snap to trace, and automated MKT Calculations etc.

The SL51T, SL52T and SL53T are self contained single channel temperature data loggers with the ability to record up to 8,000 data points. The data logger can be programmed with a user manifest that can be used to describe the application that the data logger is being used for, vehicle and driver details if used for a transportation application or room details if used in a building management application. Once configured, the data logger is placed in the area or package to be monitored. At the end of the logging period, the data logger is taken back to the computer and the data downloaded. TempIT will then display the readings as a graph against time in the TempIT-Lite package or with an additional data table in the full TempIT package. If the SL121T is used, a green LED is activated when the data logger is logging, changing to red if the preprogrammed alarm levels are exceed giving instant indication that the logger has been subjected to physical conditions outside those set by the operator. There is also an audible alarm function to identify alarms conditions.

The SL121TR is available with a removable external temperature sensor, ideal for use in monitoring the temperature of food products during cooking. This allows the data logger to be use in environments that are unsuitable for the data logger itself. This could be at operating temperature outside the operating limits of the data logger or hygienic applications where the cracks and crevices of the data logger would be a hazard. The SL121TR is ideally suited for HACCP and EFSIS evaluation.

The SL130T temperature data logger provides an accurate, easy method of recording temperatures in harsh environments like washing machines, dishwashers, autoclaves, sterilizers or any application where the data logger is submersed in liquid. The SL130T is ideally suited for independent washer validation required under the HTM 2030 guidelines. The SL130T is housed in a robust PTFE enclosure and is fully potted to ensure no moisture ingress.

The SL130T has a fast response probe protected by the PTFE case. Sample rates as low as once every two seconds are possible and the SL130T will store over 8000 readings with a typical battery life of 5 years. As the SL130T is fully encapsulated, there are no communication plugs and sockets. The data logger communicates with the computer via infra red. The end cap is removed from the data logger and it is placed on the SL120R infra red reader. The data can then be downloaded, viewed and the data logger reset ready for the next logging session.

The SL130T is designed to operate at temperature in excess of +85°C for a limited time only. The graph opposite shows an approximate time versus temperature exposure from +85°C to +140°C. You can see the SL130T is ok for 40 minutes at 90°C in stirred liquid and 60 minutes in still air. This reduces to 10 minutes in stirred liquid and 20 minutes in still air at +140°C

The SL151T loggers are single channel, temperature data logggers that record the time, date and precise temperature for later retrieval and analysis. The data loggers are used in food, pharmaceutical , building management and other industries for temperature monitoring. Typical applications include food safety, where vulnerable or high value products are sensitive to incorrect environmental conditions, which in turn could cause irreparable damage to goods that might not be obvious on receipt. The data logger is sealed in a crevice free and robust plastic tag with no 'bug traps' connections or entries of any kind. The tag can be conveniently located in a packing case, on a pallet or attached directly to the product. This data logger series is particularly suited for cold chain applications to meet EN12830 for the monitoring of food produce in storage and transportation.

The SL151T has a user manifest containing all the details of the application. This could be area being monitored, the vehicle registration number, the batch number or just a description of the application.The user manifest, together with alarm thresholds, are simply downloaded to the data logger by a wireless interface. The same reader retrieves the stored readings which are transferred to a suitable PC or laptop where the flexible TempIT software displays all the information in an easy to read graph, showing clearly if the consignment has been subjected to alarm conditions. The readings are stored in a form that cannot subsequently be altered or manipulated whilst the data logger also records who has read the information thereby ensuring their integrity.

NEW - The SL151T now incorporates a magnetic swipe start function. The data logger can be configured ready to log but left in a dormant state until a magnet is swiped down the side of the data logger.

The SL400 system is a radio based wireless telemetry system. Ideal for retro fitting a monitoring system into an existing installation with minimum downtime and cost.

The SL400 system comprises of remote radio transmitters that measure temperature, relative humidity, low differential pressure, mA or voltage signals and periodically transmits the values back to a receiving base station. The radio transmitters operate on the worldwide, license free frequency and have an output power of only 10mW which does not interfere with other sensitive electronic equipment but allows up to 1000m transmission range.

The SL400 base stations can now be supplied with Ethernet connectivity. This means that there is no longer a restriction on the distance from the transmitters to the base station.
The SL400-ETHERNET base station can be connected to your existing Ethernet network in a convenient location to pick up the relevant transmissions and the data passed over your network.

The software supports up to 20 base stations.
