P.J. Boner & Co. Employ dedicated qualified Instrument Technicians to assist your plant in maintaining the high standards required in today’s world. We offer a range of options to suit each customer and work with our customers in achieving this.

Our on site calibration service can be from 1 calibration once a year to multiple technicians on site through out the year. Each technician is equipped with the test equipment that is needed to complete the calibrations in as accurate way as possible – all our test equipment is certified at a national laboratory to INAB, UKAS or equivalent standards.

Advice

Our qualified technicians are available to give advice on your current calibration schedule, we use our experience on other plants and customers to give the best advice to each customer – but we also know the value of trade secrets and will never disclose any information that would compromise our trust on site. We will also help in fault finding if required with our customer’s maintenance team to help find out if the instruments on site are causing any problems.

Procedures

Calibrations on site are performed to either our own calibration procedures or our customers. If our customers are used, we ensure that the necessary time is given to the technician to become familiar with that particular plants procedures. All calibrations are performed electronically using ProCal V5 Calibration Management System which allows our calibrations to be performed quickly and more importantly, accurately.

We only provide suitably qualified technicians with either a Degree in Instrumentation & Physics or time served instrument craftsperson.

We are capable of performing calibrations in all industries and take into account the necessary standards that are used in those industries. Our calibrations will conform to all internationally required standards or procedures such as FDA for Pharmaceuticals, HACCP for Food, EN206 for Concrete etc.
